Project description
The task was to show how the IGEPA Plana paper makes a difference in packaging design. To prove this point, the authors conducted a neuroscientific research study to test the IGEPA box. The box consisted of eight smaller boxes nested inside one another. Discrete on the outside, the IGEPA box hid a host of surprises of varied formats, graphical, technical and design solutions. The study, asking respondents to first open a conventional box, and then an IGEPA box, suggested 50% better EEG results for the IGEPA box as well as nearly 67% higher emotional peaks compared to conventional boxes, proving that packaging design is equally important as the content, if not even more important.
