Project description

The starting point of the project was the Zagreb earthquake and preparedness for natural disasters, with an emphasis on mental health. As it was concluded through research, the mentioned problem was solved by designing a tool for introducing natural disasters to children of early school ages (ages 7 to 11) in the form of a board game. This project aimed to design an educational cooperative game and related educational and promotional materials to demystify natural disasters through play, as it is the most effective way of learning for children of that age. The game contains Zagreb-specific motifs and, conceptually, is based on the Zagreb legend of the Black Queen.
