Representative monuments of Rijeka’s industrial heritage visually simplified to the level of symbols are the bearers of the overall visual identity of the project. The abstracted contours of the front of the palace and the sides of the nave are connected by lines into a unique dynamic visual circuit. The linear visual expression of the intertwined polygons is taken over as a fragment of the view of the port of Rijeka already integrated into the city of Rijeka with the inspiring architectural achievement of Ninoslav Kučan’s Ri department store. The thinner lines of the logo, as symbolic links between the economic and historical facts that shaped the city, connect the key objects of valorization, creating an authentic and contemporary identity of the industrial heritage of the city of Rijeka.
