10th Children's Rights Festival Dora Bilandžić

Children’s Rights Festival is a festival promoting children’s filmmaking. Visuals for its 10^th  edition emerged from surrendering to play, free form, childlike stroke, and refined simplicity. Sketches and drawings evolved into compositions worth “blowing up” and placing on B2 size posters. The same playful process was applied when designing the typeface in the program book and visual identity of the festival. The choice of harmonious colour scheme was used to code a diverse festival program. The added value of the work lays in hand symbols which, besides referencing kids’ ten fingers, imply sign language of the children with hearing impairments whose inclusion is embedded in the festival.
