Project description

The #POSTbody project explores the complex relationship between body image and social media, highlighting the transformative nature of bodies in the online realm. The project originates from the theme of body dysmorphic disorder, which is further elaborated through seven sub-themes. Each sub-theme is developed into a hybrid publication blending traditional book formats with digital content. Strong visuals inspired by social media aesthetics dominate, facilitating entry into interactive digital experiences – from physical interventions within the publications to QR codes linking to various articles, videos, posts, as well as original AR filters contextualized within the visual framework.
