Flavours of Istria Beton Brut

The monograph Flavors of Istria was created as a result of bringing the Istrian gastronomic landscape closer to a local, but above all, foreign audience. It is intended as a guide through the region, divided according to the geomorphological composition of the soil; white, gray and red with the addition of blue as an indispensable source of food in the everyday kitchen. In order to convey the structure and geomorphology, the types of soil were translated through the use of the embossing technique, but the first hint already occurs on the cover, which also has an embossed topographical map. The intention was make the reader feel the texture, complexity and diversity, which Istria as a region represents.
