The King GAFA and the Magical 0-1 Harvest Oaza

Project description
An illustrated book for children & adults: The King GAFA, questions the justification of hope in the Internet as a democratic technology. The educational fairy tale criticizes the influence that Google, Apple, Facebook & Amazon have on our society & everyday life. Visually, the project is based on the medieval illustrations. Internet is compared with feudal medieval society, due to central management, and the neglected rights of subjects who live in lack of knowledge. Raw, hand-drawn illustrations, open-source typography, fanzine aesthetics and color coding combine the charm of analog, medieval graphics with contemporary codes & images. The goal was greater availability & simpler production.
