The Quarry of Fantasies is a unique example of sedimentology of carbonate rocks and one of the most interesting quarries in the world. The quarry’s name inscriptions in Croatian and Italian, within the visual identity, are written between winding lines that depict the stratification of the earth. In this way, we read the title between the lines, just as the rocks from the quarry serve scientists to decipher natural sediments that reflect the rich geological history of the area. In the application of the visual identity on different materials, the inscriptions alternate instead of the title. The signage system integrates these elements, materializing them on totems in a three-dimensional form.
