Croatian Conservation Institute Annual Report Enea Piškor

Project description
The Croatian Conservation Institute is the central public institution of conservation and restoration activities in the Republic of Croatia. The aim of the project was to highlight values of the Institute, but also of the restoration process itself. Particular emphasis is placed on the manual work, thoroughness, and precision of the restoration process. Charts sewn into the thread and semi-transparent restoration papers which showcase the artifacts communicate the diversity of the material and the key points of the process – layering, filling and ultimately preserving the objects and sites. Inside the report are three booklets showing the state of the artifact before and after restoration.
