Project description

The 4T+2 collection is inspired by Galen’s theory of temperaments (choleric, melancholic, phlegmatic, sanguine) and two personality types (extrovert and introvert). Each temperament is associated with a color palette based on its symbolism and psychological impact, and every outfit in the collection corresponds to the each temperament. The starting point of the collection were hand-knitted headpieces, created as a depiction of the facial expressions of each temperament. The characteristics of these personalities are shown throughout the collection by the types of fabrics, cuts, volume, and color. The unique texture of the fabric is achieved by various textile manipulation techniques.
