Iva Prosoli’s book Tošo Dabac, an artist of his time — a critical reading thematises his entire photographic work with the aim of defining his position within Croatian and world art and better understanding of the trends in Croatian photography of that period. The book design follows a precise and factual approach to the topic, which is indicated by the design of the chapters and the monospace typography that extends from the title to the navigation. The blue colour is used as an association with the artist’s place of work. The cover design refers to the characteristic framing style, which shows the same photo through two different details, for which photographer Tošo Dabac is known.
