Textile installation Samanta Petruša

Studying the effects of Parkinson’s disease on the human body, the designer concieved a possible purpose-built construction. With a combination of elements, she designed and fitted together a three-dimensional element – ​​a wooden dome, with an interior lined with tapestry and its two-dimensional reflections in a circular tapestry on the floor. The therapeutic function of the installation is based on the tactility of both elements, and the dome in this case, in free interpretation and in the context of bioethics, represents the closed inner world of man, which each individual observes from their own point of view, i.e. their own worldview. The tapestry was made by hand tufting in Regeneracija factory.
