Project description
Interval is a result of research on analog and intuitive ways to control light. The project aims to explore new possibilities for using fabrics in lamp design, which has resulted in a new typology. Interval is a suspended lamp in which the movement of the light source allows the user to control the direction and distribution of light. The textile material simultaneously serves as a light source holder, a light shade, and a space divider while enabling the user to direct and control the light. Vertical movement of the fabric controls the light intensity, diffusion, and level of intimacy – a simple gesture that defines the atmosphere.
