Between a woman’s face and body there’s still a huge gap; first is commercialised, second is a taboo. How can a woman be understood and accepted within a society, instead of being fetishized, when there’s such an internal conflict? We are overwhelmed by woman’s face today ’cause it’s everywhere; we use it to sell our product, increase viewership and about the body we moralise, censor and restrain it. If we use an image of a woman as a source of pleasure why is her own pleasure considered morally corrupt and inappropriate? By accepting women as natural beings we no longer view them as dolls but instead start to appreciate them, consequently dissolving the roots of sexism and sexual violence.
