Project description

The dominant spatial figure on photos of Non-Alligned Movement summit conferences is a large round table, a spatial configuration of the meeting which aimed to capture principles of the movement: horizontality, solidarity and proactivity. The author follows the transformation of the roundtable, understanding that sometimes spatial forms from which ideas are voiced reveal more than the words themselves. The publication was designed for and printed on a RISO duplicator. Experimenting with texture and imperfect registration distorts the impression of space within the illustration.
