Nocturnal Insects Bruketa&Žinić&Grey

On warm summer evenings you can never be alone, since you will always be accompanied by moths attracted by street lamps and spotlights. Rattling and fluttering around your head, the night flying insects enjoy the show in their own flamboyant, butterfly-like fashion, clad in their tiny velvety evening frocks and tuxedos. These fully fledged members of the EXIT Theater audience inspired the idea for design. The diurnal version of the citylight poster is void of moths, dotted with empty seats to be taken by the nocturnal flyers, equal members of the audience, in the evening, when they show up, all in their seats, their gaze turned towards the EXIT Theater Summer Nights.
