Project description

Grpašćak Interpretation Centre is located in a former military fortress within Telašćica Nature Park. The main theme of the Centre is the interpretation of the flora and fauna of Dugi Otok. A visitor can also find out more about material and intangible cultural heritage, such as the fishing tradition of Dugi Otok and its historical sites. As the central exhibition’s name — Between the Two Blues — signifies, the visual identity and scenography of the space gradually lead a visitor from the bottom of the sea to the sky above. There the visitor can get to know the charms, richness, and importance of the surrounding nature through an interactive experience.
