The Ninth Croatian Biennale of Illustration exhibition, held in 2022 at the Klovićevi dvori Gallery, was divided into several sections. The curatorial texts refer to past editions of the exhibition, and the next, tenth biennale and its theme are also announced. The design of posters and catalogs, as well as the layout of the exhibition, follow this guiding thread: enumeration, but also separation of individual units, through a graphic element – a comma, which visually resembles the number nine. Different fonts are used for the comma, following the historical overview of the exhibition. Three versions of the poster were printed, and the cover and the back of the catalog were treated equally.
