Project description

CERU is a brand of London restaurants of contemporary Levantine cuisine. The task is to design a solution for the delivery of half-prepared food – “cook at home”, which would generate publicity during the Covid lockdown. Using a reusable packaging strategy, the story of commitment was conveyed to business in a sustainable way. The packaging line is sustainably designed, using local suppliers, British products, and 100% biodegradable containers. The outer element is a light textile scarf in which the contents of the package are wrapped, as in the past food was carried in bundles to the field. After unwrapping, they can be used as a fashion accessory, scarf, tablecloth, napkins, or gift wrap.
