Carlotta Grisi – Giselle, dance interactions Studio Sonda

Carlotta Grisi, the title role in Giselle and one of the greatest Romantic ballerinas, got her own museum in Vižinada. Through a combination of interactive content Carlotta’s first steps in Vižinada are shown drawing the visitor into the first half of the last century. Various interactive digital installations are conceived as a dance through time. The exhibits consist of a sensory dance floor and an interactive mirror in which, instead of one’s own reflection, the projector shows ballet steps the visitor learns and thus evaluates the progress. The setup also offers VR binoculars with which past and present views of Vižinada square can be compared, with little Carlotta dancing on the cistern.
