V magazine Vizkultura

Project description

V magazine is a physical result of an initiative to produce curated, boldly designed and thick magazine on visual arts. This independent and voluntary initiative was camouflaged within the celebration of the 5th anniversary of Vizkultura. Circumstances in arts & culture media in Croatia, struggling with unsustainable and reducing public funds, were taken as a tool for testing utopia. As an absolute counterpoint of reality in arts&culture, Vizkultura produced a magazine thought-out in content, form, print and design approach, without any advertisement, illustrating the importance and need for survival of our platform. Ironically, this high-end edition was distributed on public promotion free of charge.
