Open Source Multilingual Teaching Materials Forum for Migrant Pupils in Europe OAZA

Project description
Bilingual educational materials for the development of language & math skills in migrant children 4-8 years old. Materials are design as an open Word doc., which anyone can fill up in any 2 languages & scripts, and produce on an A4 bw printer. Use of Word, line illustrations & the standard Times font are enabling easy production of materials for parents, teachers, volunteers. The aim of the project is to improve the learning of children who do not speak the “official” language. Goals are inclusion, multilingual teaching & cooperation between teachers & parents whose role in empowering children’s literacy is encouraged. Open set: Word doc. on 200 pg, print preparation for folder, 15 posters.
