The Place of Springs is the official online app of the future ecomuseum in Tučepi. It would be a guide and platform for the systematic preservation of tangible and intangible heritage. Locals and visitors would be able to upload stories and multimedia. Walking or cycling along predetermined trails, using the personal stories of the locals, interactive multimedia narratives (video, sound, mixed reality) and stories of other visitors, users would explore Tučepi and life in the area before the 1962 earthquake that caused migration. Using the app, users could also contact locals and members of the museum’s non-profit association for further discovery, or take part in activities organized by the Ecomuseum.
