Ana Ofak: Agents of Abstraction Rafaela Dražić

Ana Ofak’s book Agents of Abstraction is a valuable contribution to revaluation and the growing need to structure the study of Yugoslav modernism as a topic of great importance for understanding the relationship of power in the fields of global politics and global artistic currents of the second half of the 20th century. By rare visual material, much of which appears in print for the first time, the book revisits from a new perspective the cultural and geopolitical contexts. The typographic solution of the title with its prominent part Action connotes
the context that the author talks about in the book.
