Project description

The Dionysian Mysteries encompassed three different forms (dithyramb, tragedy, satire) and marked a period of hedonism. The aim of the posters was to convey that experience catharsis through visuals means. The three actors depicted on the poster express an exaggerated emotion of each of the mentioned forms, while the vibrant colors reflect the spirit of extravagance and liveliness of the festival. The “Let the Emotions Steal You” invites the audience to join the modern Dionysian Mysteries and experience their own catharsis.
