Project description

The series of posters for GDK Gavella is designed as a reflection of the interpersonal and subjective states of the characters in selected plays. The posters are created using a combination of hand-drawn motifs and digitally processed photographs, depicting the dehumanization of the characters and their struggle for freedom. In the play Mother, the protagonist transforms into an anonymous figure drowning in psychological madness. Why Are You Sleeping on the Floor portrays a distorted perception of war, where victims are reduced to mere numbers. In The Wrong Billy, the characters attempt to resist in a small community from which there is no escape.
