Riso and friends: 220.000 Prints Later Ana Tomić & Marino Krstačić-Furić

Project description

The exhibition design of RISO and friends is conceived as a DIY space in which elements of the work process are interwoven with elements of the presentation of the projects of Ana Labudović’s specialized Riso printing house. The exhibition set-up was built using the ready-made principle, in which everyday objects from the printing house (cart, paper dryer, stapler…) carry a specific project and, by moving them from the workshop, acquire a new function. Emphasis was also placed on the archive of audio-visual records of the work process through the placement of multimedia in unexpected positions. A special element of the installation is the spatial intervention. This installation is made from materials (masters) which are usually disposed of after use, but here they take center stage.
