Objects for Movement questions the existing interaction between people and everyday objects and the environment they live in. The focus of the project is a series of eight items intended for active and more physically aware living in the home. The objects redefine the classic concept of furniture, and their design is created through the prism of dance, body, and movement. While designing, the focus shifted from designing furniture to designing actions and activities. The objects choreograph the bodies that interact with them. The idea of balancing extends through all the elements. By using them, people adopt a wide range of postures that introduce dynamic movements into their daily routines.
