Nika Petković — Tok Sven Sorić

The book Tok documents Nika Petković’s project of the same name. It consists of reproductions of photographs and a series of video stills from the initial project. A series of photos printed on coated paper in the book are interrupted by blank pages in order to induce rhythm to the sequence, and encourage observing individual photos. They do not form a narrative, but an ambient as a whole. In contrast, video frames printed on uncoated paper are lined up one after the other to emphasize the source in another medium. The book contains no words except for the introductory quote, title and technical data, and is protected by a cover of textured paper permanently attached to the spine.
