Project description

The motif on the postage stamp is a human hand planting trees in an urban environment. Afforestation is often viewed only in the context of nature, but positive change is also possible in our close surroundings through the promotion of green and sustainable city policies. The style is inspired by Croatian naive art and the works of Ivan Rabuzin. The postage stamp is inspired by the story of Vladimir Dimić, a resident of Zagreb, who planted over 700 trees in the city’s green areas throughout his life. If we all engage in the process of preserving and maintaining nature, even an individual can be part of a significant change.
