Be a SeaStar Hero Studio Sonda

Project description
During the tourist season along the Adriatic destinations, the population increases up to 7 times, leading to more daily waste in the sea. Studio Sonda created a completely new category of underwater cleaning that turns diving and waste collection into a fun tourist activity. The reward system enables the most hardworking participants to become SeaStar heroes (they are rewarded with a t-shirt with the date written on it and on that day they get benefits in the catering/cultural facilities of the destination). In the 1st year of the pilot project, 4,500 pieces of plastic were collected on five beaches, and in 2024, the project expanded by 100% to new destinations, including one nature park.
