BANE ArtBook Studio Hamper

The art book BANE presents the paintings of Croatian colorist, Bane Milenković. Divided into 2 volumes, on 584 pages, the book deals with 4 thematic units (Animals, Plants, Mediterranean, Boats). The artistic narrative is enhanced by inserting short stories by four prominent Croatian writers. In order to make the experience of his works as convincing as possible (expressiveness, vibrancy of colorism, playfulness of form),  the designers paid special attention to the art direction, the treatment of visual materials and the use of colors. Additional to design, Hamper is also the publisher and editor of the book and author of photographs (portraits, atelier, imagery) that unobtrusively describe the background of the artist’s work.
