The visual identity of the 49th Osor Classical Music Festival reflects its dual character – a blend of classical and traditional on one hand, and contemporary on the other. The festival encourages contemporary musical creation by commissioning new works that premiere at the festival. This duality is visually represented through the use of two contrasting, yet complementary typefaces. The complexity of musical composition is mirrored in the layered visual design – background elements provide rhythm (a loosely defined informational grid) with occasional accents, while the key information surfaces in an order chosen by the reader’s eye.
