Sean Poropat is the owner and chief creative director of Studio Sonda. Located in an inspiring small town on the Istrian peninsula, the studio proves that globally relevant work can be created regardless of location. Sonda has won over 200 professional awards, including Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Effie, Epica, ADC, OneShow, LIA, and RedDot Best of the Best. It is the only Croatian agency to achieve the highest national accolades across design (Grand Prize of the Croatian Designers Association), creative marketing communications (Grand Prix IdejaX), digital communication (MIXX IAB Grand Prix), and effectiveness (Effie Grand Prix). Effie has also ranked Sonda as the 10th most effective independent agency in Europe. Sean has served on juries for numerous prestigious competitions, including Cannes Lions and Golden Drum, and has chaired the jury for the national creativity competition Ideja X for four consecutive years. He is a member of HURA (Croatian Association of Communication Agencies) and the Croatian Designers Association, where he served on the Ethics Committee. He is also president of the Sonda Association for the promotion of creativity, education, and community development.
