KAHOOT! is a Norwegian game-based learning platform focused on audience and player engagement. Its goal is to encourage learning, curiosity, and collaboration. Similarly, the annual report is designed to spark curiosity, interaction, and reader engagement by taking the form of a quiz game in which the players use their mobile devices to answer questions displayed on a large screen. When closed, the report resembles a player’s mobile device with answer options, and when opened, it resembles a board or projector screen. The report mimics the quiz interface to give the reader a sense of play while simultaneously learning about Kahoot.
