Project description
The task of the poster for the exhibition held during the ED Awards ’24 festival in Naples, at the Santa Maria delle Anime church, which invited 15 studios from all over Europe, was to interpret the “Cult of Death.” The proposed Croatian solution addresses the statement by poet Tin Ujević: “While I’m alive, you won’t give me a place to live, but when I die, you will give me a whole street.” A QR code on the poster leads to www.tinujevic.eu with a map of Croatia showing how many streets and squares have been named after him, along with a translation of a poem “A Record on the Doorstep” and an essay by Marko Pogačar. The entire work questions society’s relationship with artists and culture.
The work is not in competition for the award
