Beef Productions is a London-based film and television production label for a new company founded by experienced film executives Emma Biggins and Edward Fletcher. Other than being an acronym of the founder’s names, Beef refers to how they intend to work with younger producers as co-producers to BEEF up their projects. Starting from the brief which suggested drawing inspiration from classic cinema signs and letters in cubes hung on hoardings, the wordmark explorations developed into a memorable cinematic shape, a sharp, rhythmic, and beefed-up lettering suitable for the ambitious studio.
