The publication Unwanted Images -Towards Materializing the Archive is part of the exhibition and the discursive program of the Europa Den Raeten conference at Volksbühne on Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin. Project was created in collaboration with the author of the online archive unwantedimages.org, photographer Davor Konjikušić. Unwanted Images is an independent association that, through a critical and innovative approach, aims to encourage the collection, contemplation, preservation, and understanding of photographic material that has been systematically destroyed and neglected, especially Yugoslav partisan photography. The publication presents neglected fragments of the history of resistance.
