The pocket-sized book contains thirty entries that are provisional, excessive, dialogic, often brackish, only lightly edited and arranged. The notes were created during the collaborative fieldwork of artist-researchers in the area of the Amsterdam harbor, the brackish waters of IJmuiden and the changing dunes of the island of Texel, in dialogue with marine chemists, theorists, thinkers and ecologists.
