The Bloom Icon freestanding bar cabinet re-examines the idea of what a cabinet should be in a new way. The idea that a cabinet is a freestanding object, centrally positioned on one pole, is entirely unique. An unexpected composition of elements – a light base on which the body is placed – also contributes to a different experience of a cabinet.
Cabinet doors open using a rotating mechanism developed specifically for this product. The doors open with slight movement, rotating around a central axis. It opens from two sides, which allows it to be placed in the center of the room, instead of next to a wall. Circular lights placed on the edges of the shelves switch on when the cabinet opens.
