This work is speculating the possible consequences of current waste management practices in the City of Zagreb. Through several scenarios we are questioning the problem of responsibility over waste management. Tension arises from the responsibility of citizens and the city’s waste management policies. We have shown some methods that the City of Zagreb is to use in the future, while also showing the methods that the citizens have developed to make their day-to-day cohabitation with waste bearable, thus emphasizing the paradoxical fact that the responsibility for waste management is supposedly individual. These scenarios resulted in artefacts, objects we borrowed from the future which are relevant to the location. They serve as a warning to our generation of what might come.
