Although the visual and typographic logic of the Dubrovnik Statute is followed, simplification has developed the Although the visual and typographical logic of the Dubrovnik Statute was referenced here, the visual identity was developed through simplification using different combinations of the arrangement of characters and their alternations characteristic of the original manuscript. The numerical part of the logo was developed in a modern typographic interpretation as a counterpoint to the stylized rotunda, bringing the time of creation of the document into relation with today’s time or the time of the anniversary. As the most appropriate way to celebrate the anniversary with the purpose of true revaluation of the heritage and creation of its new cultural layer, it was suggested to the client to commision a new custom typeface from a typographer and release it for free use.
