Speculative Design – Educational Resource Toolkit Academy of Fine Arts, Split

SpeculativeEdu project has been dealing with education in the field of speculative design and related practices for 2.5 years. Educators and practitioners from partner institutions across the EU conducted more than 50 interviews, organized several workshops, collected a number of case studies, participated in conferences and festivals, collected data and studied tools, methods and approaches. As the project’s final result, the book Beyond Speculative Design: Past-Present-Future was published, bringing an overview of speculative design practice and education; approaches, methods and tools; a critical reflection on the practice in the last two decades; and challenges for the future.
