Signposts - Boardwalk Poreč Studio Sonda

Project description
The most recognizable part of the new Poreč waterfront are the several meters long lines on the ground, illuminated in the dark, with much more than just a decorative function. 13 interactive metal lines actually represent signposts to 13 cultural and historical sights, which the user actually sees by following along the line’s direction. However, the user can get information about the sights even before arriving, since their names, symbols, basic data and QR codes that lead to details about each of them, are engraved in the plates dug into the stone of the waterfront itself. A virtual projection of sights is in the process of being created within the waterfront area as well.
