Visual communication is an integral part of Pukotine, a platform that aims to help adolescents grow and develop. It is used to shift the way we perceive talking about feelings, personal development and mental health. The idea is to go beyond normalisation, talking about one’s feelings should be cool. An open identity system is based on border, symbolising our personal space, protecting us, but still being open and flexible. The border is used on the website, videos, posters and Instagram stories. The main idea of the project — cracks are beautiful — is further emphasised through identity typography, based on exaggerated ink-traps.
