The typeface Narcissa and its use in the Jounesse Fashion magazine Greta Vuković

Project description
Narcissa is a high-contrast serif typeface, inspired by the Art Nouveau period. It consists of a basic and decorative cut. The basic cut is typically a letter used in the fashion industry to which an element of lines connecting different parts of a letter sign is added. Individual letters also come in several variants, as well as a swash option. Narcissa also consists of a decorative thin cut. The decorations are directly inspired by ornamental elements from Art Nouveau. Jounesse magazine, that uses the typeface for headlines, was conceived as modern interpretation of past styles. It is divided into six chapters thematising art, style, inspiration, fashion, photography and design.
