“Death is not behind a screen, it is the screen itself.” – Elie Delamare Deboutteville
The dance project The Screen, by Jasna L. Vinovrški, Koraljka Begović and Nikolina Rafaj, is a study of the concept of death through the (dancer’s) body. A strong and agile body versus illness and weakness, the dead body that remains, and ultimately its absence, and how the absence of a dying body affects the grieving process, are the main themes of this dance research.

The work is not in competition for the award.
