Project description

To celebrate 40th anniversary of the foundation of the Kornarija International School of Sculpture, a book was designed whose cover resembles a stone, or a sculpture. The content is closed on all sides and it is necessary to tear off the cover to access it. Therefore, everyone models a unique book (symbolism of 3D creation – link to sculpture). After tearing, the cover remains glued to the spine of the book and thus the user is left with a unique copy of the work made by him/herself. In addition, the title is printed in blindruck without color, so it doesn’t disturb the feel and idea of the stone, the indented title is also associated with carving and inscriptions in stone.
