Airhead Mask Impacting Business by Design, Brunel Design School, Brunel University London

Project description
The Airhead Mask is intended for use under increased physical activity in urban environments with a high level of air pollution. Its target market are a range of casual and professional user types such as city cyclists, scooter riders, joggers, delivery personnel and police. The mask was designed at the Brunel Design School, Brunel University London, as part of the project Impacting Business by Design funded by Research England, and it is manufactured entirely in the United Kingdom. The initial production run was made possible thanks to a highly successful Kickstarter campaign, which raised over £300,000 within one month, exceeding the set target more than tenfold.
