Ajdin Bašić was born in 1978 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He worked for the Sarajevo Center for Contemporary Art as well as in its media center pro.ba until 2000. Since 2001 he lives and works in Ljubljana, Slovenia. For three years he worked as a designer in the Parsek agency where he worked on various projects for wide array of clients such as Renault, Peugeot, Elan, Sadar Vuga Architects, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia and others. He graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, Department of Design in 2007. Between 2005—2008 he was a founding member of Grupa Ee. Since 2016 is also a programme selector of Festival Indigo in Ljubljana and is also serving as a member of the management board of The Brumen Foundation. He works as a freelance designer and focuses on design for artists and cultural institutions in Slovenia and abroad.
